The food is really good! Of course I had to get the Combinacion Cuscatlan. I wanted to try everything. And that I did! The first thing I did was grab the fried yuca. And then I grabbed a piece of the fried pork. Next I had to cut the pupusas, pork tamale, and the corn tamale in half to check out the goods. The pupusas were the revueltas ones which are filled with pork, beans, and cheese. They were really good. The corn tamale (I had no clue what to expect) was sweet and fluffy. the pork tamale didn't have a great amount of meat but tasted really good. Everything was finished off with sweet fried plantain. All the food I tried was really good! I highly recommend trying this place out!

Excellent customer service. Loved their food; it is a healthier option of pupusas compared to other places, but the flavor is amazingly amazing. I am returning to this place for sure. Loved their spicy sauce; it is spicy!

The service was friendly and fast. They were able to accommodate a vegetarian and gluten free diet for my group. We enjoyed a variety of pupusas, cortido, plantains, and yuca fries. The dining room is not fancy, but it was clean. There were quite a few people dining who appeared to be regulars.

The food is incredible! Our first visit to this place and from recommendations we decided on taking out some popusas. We got the zucchini and cheese, shrimp and cheese, chicarron, chicken chipotle and cheese, and chorizo and cheese. Honestly you can't go wrong. All of the meats had great flavor and were cooked just right. And the cheese... Make sure you ask for extra pickled cabbage too! Oh, and add on those cheese filled portabello appetizers and dip them in the hot sauce. (You're welcome! ) As for the service ... They're so friendly and sweet. Honestly, that alone makes me want to go back and support this business. Good prices too, considering what you get and how tasty it is. Enjoy!

Ordered the combination plate to try a little bit of everything, and it was more than enough for two! These were hands down the best pupusas I’ve had in San Diego. Big thanks to Luz for her great service, and to the owner for playing some old-school dolidas—it really added to the vibe. The food was absolutely delicious. Just a heads-up: be patient! They take their time to make sure every pupusa is made with care, and it’s well worth the wait.

Cuscatlan Salvadorean Food brought back so many memories! As someone who grew up with pupusas thanks to my best friend’s mom, I was thrilled to find a place that tasted just like home. The pupusas were perfectly cooked, with the right amount of filling and a chewy exterior.

I really love this restaurant! It was the first spot where I tried pupusas, and it did not disappoint. Somehow, the food gets even better with every visit—how is that even possible? Excellent customer service too. Highly recommend!
